Global Sanctuary for Elephants is a relatively young, Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit developed to create sanctuaries for elephants in parts of the globe where a healthy captive option does not exist.

Our pilot project is Elephant Sanctuary Brazil (ESB), the first and only elephant sanctuary in Latin America. The sanctuary provides a vast, safe space for captive elephants, where they are able to heal physically and emotionally from decades of sterile and negligent lives.
